If your vehicle has been parked up over winter, in a family members garage, just bought and don't know the history or forgotten about in the shed then recommissioning is needed. Time is not kind to fluids/rubbers/brakes/fuel and trying to run your vehicle without correctly checking it is safe and fit for the road can end catastrophically for both vehicle and driver!
